Replacement Steps
Remove the old wiring harness
Remove the air pump casing: Use tools such as a screwdriver or wrench to gradually remove the casing of the air pump according to the disassembly instructions, exposing the air pump motor and wiring harness.
Disconnect the connectors: Carefully unplug the connectors of the old wiring harness from the air pump motor, power supply, and other related components. Some connectors may require pressing a latch or using special tools to disconnect; be careful not to pull too hard to avoid damaging the connectors or other components.
Fixing points: Loosen the clips, screws, or ties that secure the wiring harness, and completely remove the old wiring harness from the air pump. Be sure to note the routing and fixing method of the wiring harness for the installation of the new wiring harness.
Install the new wiring harness
Arrange the wiring harness: Arrange the new wiring harness according to the routing and position of the original wiring harness, ensuring that the harness does not interfere with other components of the air pump, avoiding being squeezed, rubbed, or pulled. Use clips, screws, or ties to secure the harness in the appropriate position, with fixing points evenly distributed to ensure the stability of the harness.
Connect the connectors: Accurately connect the connectors of the new wiring harness to the air pump motor, power supply, and other related components. Ensure that the connectors are fully inserted and locked in place to ensure the reliability of the electrical connection.
Check and test
Visual inspection: Check whether the wiring harness is securely installed, whether the connectors are tightly connected, and whether there are any looseness, damage, or abnormalities. Ensure that the insulation layer of the wiring harness is not damaged and that the wires are not exposed.
Electrical performance testing: Use a multimeter to measure the resistance of the wiring harness, ensuring that the resistance value is within the normal range to verify good conductivity of the wires. At the same time, check the insulation performance of the wiring harness to ensure that the insulation resistance meets the requirements, preventing short circuits or leakage.
Functional testing: After confirming that the wiring harness is installed correctly, turn on the power supply to the air pump and conduct a start and operation test of the air pump. Observe whether the air pump motor operates normally, whether the air pump can work properly, and whether there are any abnormal noises, vibrations, or overheating.
